Question Trunk emblem location?

Hey guy's was wondering if some one could give me the measurement for locating the (1 7/8") round snake emblem on the trunk? I think the ERA building instructions give these measurements most accurately, or if an original cobra owner could take a measurement that would be great! Thanks in advance.

Unhappy No diagrams?

Went to page 106 of the manual, and my acrobat reader will not open the diagrams. Could someone explain where these trunk emblems go? Thanks guy's.

Those free manuals don't have most of the illustrations. We gotta make money somewhere.

The emblem locations

Question

What do you use to stick the emblems to the car? My emblems have the pins to fit in the holes to keep it aligned but nothing else to actually hold them on.

Thanks,

John

Lightbulb Fasten emblem

Hey John, if you have an SPF, set your pilot hole drill bit and 1/8" drill bit to the depth of the emblem pins only, (you could wrap some tape around the drill bit as a depth gauge) the trunk (boot) is pretty thick and you could avoid unsightly holes on the underside of the trunk. I'm researching some adhesives and will let ya know what works best. RTV maybe?
