Default main jet extensions and pv modification

i'm looking into doing the aforementioned modifications to a bg carburetor and and found this thread below which has the pv mod and wondering if anybody has done this and their experience.

Road Race Carbs: Why 2 PV's?

regarding the jet extensions is there any need to go to a larger size once the extensions are installed in your experience?

don't suggest to remove the secondary pv cause it 's not going to happen since i have a 1-1 linkage.

thanks

i did email stan about his carburetors, i don't think i can afford the $2400 right now, but it would be nice i'm sure.

the pv cap is a 3/8" hard copper cap, the tubing is brass 5/16".

when the tubing is cut the crimped portion is captured between the jet and the metering block, make to any length and crimp if preferred.

the cap is simply press fit into the block, might have to jb weld it later but didn't know if this is going to work yet.

total cost--less then $5.
