Brake problem

Have problem with my brakes, have a complete 84 Corvette suspenion on my cobra
I have installed new rotors ,new brake pads and the calipers have been rebuilded. Master cyl. is new also.

my problem is after the brake lines have been bled I only have about 2 ins. of hard brakes from the floor this is not right to me.I would think you should have at least half a pedal distance any ideas
