My Problem

Ron - Warren is trying to hold your post count down!

Have you cleaned out you cookies and check Windows task manager to see what Processes are loaded,vs. how much ram you have available. It is possible that when you go to Cc something else loads and takes too much ram slowing you down. Or I have seen software (usually a virus checker) load and begin a scan when you need that processor for your program/web site. Good luck

I just reread your post..... I was probably wrong since you tried 3 machines.

If it helps I have noticed this site very slow at times.
Usually a new hot topic. And I'm working off a T1 line!

I did some checking and some of the topics here on CC. Some are very fast to open, the worst is

I have did everything possible to these computers except format the drives and reload them and that takes all day. Ron(CW) seems to think there is a problem at times with the CC site also. I saw someone had posted that by clicking somewhere they could still get that Nav Bar to show up and I still think it is the problem. Mine was super fast until he put that thing in and them removed it. All of my computers are still very fast on all other sites, I just have problems on this one site now. The other day I couldn't get it to post, it would start and then just stop and set like it was lost. After about 10 minutes I left and went to my home page and then to some other sites. Not back to the desktop and no cleaning of cookies, temp files or anything. I decided to give it one more try before logging off the net and it worked fine then. I know there are some unneeded things in my registry but the McAfee keeps the ones that bother anything cleaned. But they were there before we went back to the new servers and everything worked great. My computers are not slow, it is just with the CC site and they just take times they seem to get lost when I try to post or anything. No errors or blank pages, just the post and the two or three status bars below like it started to load it and then got lost.

Edit: when I hit the submit button for this post it started, then paused then went all the way and then did it all over again like it was posting froom two locations.

Ron - I just saw something odd. I received a post email for this thread, for your last post. When i went to the thread it was not there, then I checked a few other things and came back in...... there it was.

Jon,

I just posted a picture of what I was getting on the Uploaded New Software Thread that Brent has and it went in and shows it on page 4. But I can't get to page four. The last thing I can see is page three and Warren's last post. Something is definitely going on that is weird in the CC software and it isn't my computers or yours.
