Default DFW Cars and Coffee, Saturday, October 2

I could not attend Cars and Coffee last month and did not make either California trip (but enjoyed the pics and want to hear the stories), so I lust for a Cobra fix. I am fairly new, so will someone with more history and relationships than me suggest a plan for DFW Cars and Coffee Saturday. I don't know if it is too early to move from breakfast to lunch. Regardless, I am in for one. Larry Carlson

I'll be in town for the Texas v. OU game so I may stop by and introduce myself (and check out your Cobras!). Is 6800 Dallas Pkwy, Plano the right address?

Default Welcome DW!

Cars & Coffee is at Classic BMW - Tollway and Spring Creek in Plano. It runs from 7 am to 11 am approximately, on the first Saturday of every month. We haven't decided yet if we will meet up and roll in as a group.

The DFW CC luncheon is a separate event that also meets on the first Saturday. The location is different every month. Watch this forum this week and the details will get hammered out.

Typically, the luncheon will begin about 10:30 am and run through about 1 pm, so you may not be able to work that in if you have to be at Fair Park in time to get parked and seated by 2 pm gametime. But, we'd be glad to have you ...

DrivinWest, Gary Sharapata has opened a thread with Saturday plans, here: Dallas October 2nd Lunch 6800 Dallas Parkway (Tollway) address is right. As Sammy pointed out, Northeast corner of Tollway and Spring Creek. http://dallas.carsandcoffee.info/ I am UT law school. My father was UT engineering. My son went to UT. Last year was my first time at the Red River Shootout. Fabulous game and experience. I am afraid we may have our hands full Saturday. Enjoy the game and come meet some Cobra breathren. Larry Carlson

I will pass on this months C&C. I need to clean the car up after the Run N Gun event and then I will make it to the luncheon.

I make it a rule to never migrate into the Dallas territory during the TX-OU weekend, even though UT is my alma mater.

I am in the air for both. I want to come, but we have a huge BBQ for the game, and everyone is doing a part, so we can actually have a ton of food for all the people and enjoy the game at the same time. If I show up, it will likely be just for a minute.

I understand that the Okies are required to be "dipped" in Gainsville or Sherman when they enter the Republic of Texas. Is that true Steve? Clois said it's to protect the Sooners from foreign substances they may encounter hehehe.

The nice thing about this game is anything can happen when these two meet. I'd say Texas has their work cut out for them this year
