Exclamation If only Elvis was with us! Real vintage road racers.

Very funny. The guy in the gold helmet kinda drives like Shelton.

Here is a list of the vintage racers showing up. Most run in Group 1 (Big Bore) of Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing (CVAR):

Driver, Car, Class, Grid position, Lap times at Texas World Speedway
Russell Suggs; 1970 BOSS 302, A/S, Front Runner, 1:56.8
Roy Allen; 1966 Shelby GT350, B/P, Front Runner, 1:57.1
Steve Seitz; 1965 Mustang Fastback, B/P, Mid-pack, 2:01.6
Doug Schultz; Bringing Mark Martins old cup car not his Mustang, B/P, Mid-pack, 2:04.7
Bill Kuers; 1965 Mustang Fastback, B/P, Mid-pack, 2:06.3
Jay Seligman; 1966 Mustang Coupe, A/S, Lower half, 2:09.7
Tom Hassell; 1966 Mustang Notchback, A/S, Lower half, 2:15.06

Group 4 Car (historic):
Tony Parella; Incredible 1958 Chevy Corvette, ?, Tony is new to the scene, 2:15.7

Exhibition car:
James Worth, ERA GT40

If you're not sure you want to drive out to watch, this should entice you. Great guys who love to talk cars and answer questions. John Shelton has arranged for us to run in the Advanced group and run 4 sessions between 1:00 and 6:00.
