Default custom header builder in Houston?

I'm giving serious consideration to replacing the current 5.0 HO engine in my Cobra replica with a 351C I have sitting in the garage, so I'm doing a bit of research to help me make the decision.

I realize this will necessitate a change of headers.

Does anyone know of someplace in the Houston area that can make a custom set of headers? My current sidepipes are slip-fit design, I would like for them to be changed over to flange design, so the headers would need to be flanged where they connect to the sidepipes, too.

TIA for whatever information you can provide!

Cheers, Dugly

Give Lloyd Swint a call. He is around the Veterans Memorial/ Beltway 8 area.

Thumbs up

Doug,

If Lloyd is unable to accommodate you, the trip to Dallas for Rob Camp at C &S Performance to do the job would be worth your while. I got a custom set with flanges to replace my original Hurricane set up for a really reasonable price.

Appointment ahead of time, but delivered back to me with pipes, headers, gaskets all bolted back up and road ready in 4 days.

And if you want one more option, try Stainless Headers. They are not local, but have a unique and accurate way to mock up exactly what you need.
Their tig welders are really skilled and the final product is top notch.

Stainless Headers Mfg., Inc. fabricates custom headers in stainless and mild steel

Ask for Chris. He will treat you right.
