Okay! Who's in? Meridian, Texas National Bar-B-Q Cook-Off October 21, 22, 23, 2011...The National Championship Barbecue Cookoff 1 :LOL:
Here is a suggestion: Gather at MacDonalds in Alvarado at 8:00am Saturday Oct. 22nd, depart at 8:30 and head out via the country hiways and byways. :) Arrive Meridian around 10:00am...park at the car show...scout out the town festival activites, sample some of the Nation's best bar-b-q....head back on your own or in a group or spend the night and head back Sunday. :LOL: http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...t_2009_079.jpg I promise...Sammy is NOT cooking...hehehe |

40 miles West of Hillsboro and about the same South of Glen Rose and 105 miles Southwest of my front door. I'm addicted to goooood bar-B-que also. Anybody wish to make this more than a one car adventure?

Any chance the dallas side can meet somewhere (time and place) and criuze to Alvarado prior to the final leg to Meridian.
