Okay! Who's in? Meridian, Texas National Bar-B-Q Cook-Off October 21, 22, 23, 2011... The National Championship Barbecue Cookoff 1 
Here is a suggestion: Gather at MacDonalds in Alvarado at 8:00am Saturday Oct. 22nd, depart at 8:30 and head out via the country hiways and byways. 
Arrive Meridian around 10:00am...park at the car show...scout out the town festival activites, sample some of the Nation's best bar-b-q....head back on your own or in a group or spend the night and head back Sunday.
I promise...Sammy is NOT cooking...hehehe
