TCC Patches, Last Call !!!!
Last call folks, I'm going on vacation at the end of this week and I'd like to place our order for the TCC Patches. I will take orders through Wed. night of this week (10 Oct.) Thursday morning, I will call them in from work so please get me your mailing address and quantity if you haven't already.
Order your jacket from brothers (if you like), and let me know how many patches you want. I'll secure the order with a check. Credit cards cost an additional 3.5%.
Send me your name and address to my home email:
renaissance.man@cox-internet.com
I will send them one compiled list so that we all still get the discount and let them mail you the patches and you can have whomever you wish put them on for you. Shipping should be like $1.50 to each person then. This will also allow you to ensure that your jacket order is correct.

Ren; What's the total count on the patches? Are we going to go over the 100+ mark?

Paul,
Unfortunately we are still at only 30!!!!! I'm talking total number of sets of patches. We've only had about a dozen people ask for them.
If you guys aren't into the jackets, fine. Put the patch on whatever you like. Put it in a display case.
If you don't like the patch, say so. I know some people expressed a desire for something different but my feeling was most people like the two that were selected. I know everyone was wanting them before the weather got too cold so that they could be displayed on their new jackets.
Please chime in...

Dave,
Sorry for the delay, but I should have a few more concepts to post by tomorrow, so we should be able to have a final by the end of the week. If you have received other concepts, please post them.
Or... If anyone else has a different idea for a logo, let me know and I will try to create a concept of your ideas. I certainly am no artist or graphic designer but I can put a few concepts together based on everyone's feedback.
Let me know how I can help.

James,
Not a problem... Don't know if we need any more unless someone is really opposed to the one's presented. I have not heard anyone say that they are?
Appreciate your help...

Ren; Do you think we need to wait until you get back from vacation to order the patches? I think we need a TCC role call to see if everyone has had a chance to order. There are alot of shows and races going on, and it's possible alot of the members are not responding on the forum. Just a thought.

Does the club (TCC) have enough funds in the treasury to order the difference needed to reach 100, so we will have an inventory of patches for future members??
(BTW - I just sent you an email for 2 sets of patches for myself and wife...)

I will have more concepts in tomorrow but here is one for now..... and yes Gary, this is your car.
Image the background on the jacket color of your choice and the lettering in a metallic gold (or other color of your choice)

Original concept but WITH a stripe.
Colors are up to you. I like these colors because I picture the back patch using metallic thread so the gold really pops out and besides, using white thread (which will get dirty quick) there really are not many combinations we can use to match everyone's car and jacket colors.
Plus, I don't think they make a rhubarb colored thread (sorry Mr. President )

James,
I really like this latest patch: Round with the black cobra. The thing that sets this off as my first choice is where your first concept (my favorite until now) had white lettering. This is done in Gold. Looks great!

Round Patch
I think the last round badge is a winner. The round badge really says "Texas" and reminds me of the old Texas Rangers Badge. I received my jacket yesterday - ready for the back patch.
