So are you finished yet Bobbie? With all the heat around here I hope you have some AC in your garage. Not sure there is enough cold ones to overcome this heat.

Good Luck with the build.

Let's just go with Bobby, or Bob - thanks

And yes, I'm installing a 18Kbtu AC heat pump this weekend. The electrician is coming tomorrow to install a new breaker panel and a 230V run.

Clois is a Boobie, trying to feminize spelling of your name.

Are picking up 2008 or having it shipped? Do you have a date yet?

Hey Mark - The frame just came back from powdercoat on Tuesday. Everything is about ready for delivery in a few weeks. I'm still frantically trying to get my garage prepped. I haven't decided on pick-up or delivery yet either, I need to work out the logistics with Steve...

The frame is back from powercoat, and looks great. Dusty has fit the body to the frame, and aligned all the panels. Its just about ready for pickup!

Anybody want to make a road trip?

Looking good, Bobby. The antisipation should just about be killing you by now, fun memories. When we picked ours up someone had to ask about the trailer at every gas stop. (may have been the sign)

But we had no problem talking about our adventure.

Let me know if you plan to cool your heels in Springfield.

We will be pulling an 18" open trailer more than likely so it should get really some attention -

I would love to stop by and see your HM2006, it looks its only about a 70 mile diversion, would be a nice layover!

Bobby, did not know what route you were looking at. We went through KC then to DesMoines to Lake City. Roads were all pretty good. I have no experience with the Wichita to Souix City route but it does show shorter on Google. Anyway if you want to swing through, would love to show off 2006.

You're gonna have fun with the build, just don't let it get bogged down, gotta have priorities or you end up like HM 1081.....still slogging along. All the best with the build.

I would just like to add that Hurricane Motorsports has been an absolute joy to work with. I can't imagine a more pleasant experience with a company helping me fulfill a lifetime dream. If you are considering a component car in any build stage, from partial to complete to turnkey-minus you owe it to yourself to check out Hurricane.

Hurricane Motorsports - 427 Roadsters

This is non-paid endorsement. No bribery, blackmail, or even mild arm twisting has been attempted by either party. Just a happy customer passing along my opinion.

I will second Bobby commits, Hurricane has been a real joy to work with, if you are in the market you need to check them out.

Bobby have you made plans to pick 2008 up yet?
