Ok apparently being the far far west group...I will be on the square in Cleburne with my entourage, and will join the parade there.

Wish I could go. Getting the cobra back from David tomorrow. Reassembly and work will prevent me from joining this one. Have fun. Eat lots. Post pics!

Norma’s Cafe
17721 N Dallas Pkwy
Dallas 75287

Leave Norma’s at 7:00

Meet Kenny B. and his group at 8:15 AM:

White Rhino Coffee Shop
SW corner Hwy 67 & Belt Line Road
230 W. Belt Line Rd.
Cedar Hill, TX 75104

Kenny B. will take the lead at this point and take us into Meridian, TX.

Leave for Cleburn, TX at 8:30 AM and meet up with the rest of the West Side group at the town square Hwy 67 at 9:15 AM and leave for Meridian, TX and the BBQ Cook Off arrive about 10:30 AM.

There is no car show this year so we will probably have to part with the other cars, lets try to keep the cars together.

Dave, since going to Cedar Hill from Keller would be way out of the way. I can meet at Starbucks if you want.

I was just planning on waiting at the courthouse square for the rest of the group to roll through, as Kenny's plan going 67 to 174 takes them through downtown Cleburne. They should be there sometime around 9 or soon thereafter if the they leave Cedar Hill on time.

So if any of the Fort Worth side of the metroplex wants to meet at Starbucks in Cleburne I will be there by 8 am.

Court, car sucks up a quart of oil every 350 miles. Heads are removed and being inspected by a machine shop. Possible valve guide issue, or maybe cracked head. Also, PCV valve is sucking oil from valve cover into the intake manifold. I will send you a PM with details, would appreciate your thoughts. Larry

We will be using Radio Channel 10.1 on our Motorola's for this trip. Those that have the radios check in when you join the group we need one radio at the rear of the pack Kenny B. will be in the lead from Cedar Hill with a radio.

Does the valve cover have a baffle plate on the breather?

Update:
I was traveling back from a work function today in Kerrville. I decided to run this route backwards as I headed to Dallas.
Coming by the Bosque Bottoms in Meridian, I noticed trucks and trailers everywhere and a large grassy area to the right of the gate as we pull in. I am sure it will be packed with early arrivals when we get there, but at least I have an idea what the area looks like and we should be able to park as a group.
Meridian to Cleburne took 40 mins, Cleburne to Alvarado took 10 mins, and Alvarado to Cedar Hill took 30 mins. With that info and planned departure from Cedar Hill at 8:30am, upon our arrival in Cleburne at 9:10am, I plan to make a noisy loop around the square, pick up the westsiders, and continue South on 174 to Meridian. Arrival approx. 10am.
