Default Austin Stuff...

Really awesome trip yesterday, even without my Cobra. Could only imagine how the passengers in the 6/7 snakes in front of me were enjoying it! Good call on the destination!

Got a bunch of pics, but have to retouch them a bit cause I got all sorts of windshield smudgings over it. Here's a couple I've edited in the meanwhile...

Here's the lineup of cars as seen from my Cobra-substitute before Ray joined us. Stretch is barely visible at the top of the hill, followed by Ed, Cammer, Gerhardt, Scott and Joe...

The girls of the group...

And if most of you wondered why there were so few bugs on the way, you can thank Stretch for protecting you...

I'll get the others on later and get into the discussion of November's meeting.

Cheers,
-Neil.

Default Great road - great pics!

Hey Neil -

Sorry your car wasn't part of the group - until my second son is a bit older, the longer drives are out for me, so I missed what looks like it was a great outing too.

As to your car, I'm "between engagements" too, and am more able to lend a hand during the day, if you've got any two person tasks needed to get it running.

PS - I updated my email in my CC profile, but just in case, it's winkler@texas.net

Default If you need a set of hands!

Neil,

If you need some help with anything call me. I'm close and I's love to help.

This weekends out but after that I'm free.

Default Hey John!

Hey John<

Ed and I were talking about you this weekend. We were wondering where you've been. It's good to know that you are still here with us.

Default Good job with the pics

Neil,

I think it's great that you stuck it out with uss on Saturday. Good spirit, man! Lena's gonna love that picture with Jacque, and that shot on the hwy is cool, too!

Good luck with your car. Let me know if I can help.

Peace, Out.

John, don't know if you got the email I sent to your other (work) address, but it's good to know all's well.

Guys, thanks for the help offers, but I'm really hoping I don't need it. I got everything back together and fired it up, but it idles awful. Partly due to the bigger cam, and partly due to the computer not knowing (yet) how to handle the new 42 lb injectors. I'm gonna temporarily drop back down to the 36 lb injectors so the computer can adjust to the diffs easier. Keep your fingers crossed and stand next to your phones just in case...

Anyway, I haven't had a chance to retouch the other photos yet, so I just dumped them all on a website for now. You can get them at them at http://www.avn-tech.com/stuff/cobra . They're large in the raw format so beware.

Cheers,
-Neil.

BTW, Ed where are your pics? You usually have the good ones and I'm waiting for those.
