Austin's December Meet
Yes, I changed my CC list name from anil, but this is still Neil (a.k.a. "anil", a.k.a. "Hey You", a.k.a. "[censored]" )...
Let's get this one rolling right away... Thinking of keeping December more local so we can get more participants and in case it gets noticeably colder. Let's also keep it simpler this time.... Location: How about Hula Hut (West of Loop 1 near Lake Austin or somewhere like that)? Date: What's your pref .... Dec 8th, Dec 15th, either or neither? (I've not mentioned Dec 1st as I think that's too soon, but if you really prefer that let me know). I'll be flying back to Trinidad around the 16th, and I'm sure a lot of you will get busy soon after that, so 15th is probably as late as it will get. C'mon everyone, we need/want a big turnout this time. Cheers, -Neil. |

How about the BBQ place at 2222 & 360? We had the first TCC Spring meet at that place. I don't know the exact name, County Line on the Lake?:confused:

Barbeque sounds awesome, but I picked Hula Hut cause of the water, and (more importantly) they've got margaritas. Any barbeque places around here with margaritas?

County Line on the lake has good margs. I propose the 15th because our PRESIDENT is having a holiday party at his house in Dallas on the 8th that I'd like to go to (IF work will let me get away)

Hmmm.... county line ON THE LAKE, huh? Didn't know they had a lake behind them. And didn't know they had margaritas / proper drinks. Their barbeque is awesome, so I'm game!

I sampled County Line lastnight(Again)
Well just thought I'd do some investigation work and check out County Line at the Lake.
Well the food was very, very good. Prices have seem to go about a buck from the last time I was there. The Margs were good. (My wife said they were) The beer was cold and the food was hot. I think we have a winner! Ok I vote for the 8th. Gregg H BTW: Happy Thanksgiving! |

Hi ya'll!!! At last, Cammer is alive and running again - such an ordeal for a distributor gear!!!! Jacque and I are in for the 8th as well ......... looking forward to seeing these new snakes and mods being done by everyone.............see ya'll at the 'lake'.

O.K., make me choose between our event and the Dallas gang's xmas party.....I choose BOTH! I'll be there with the beast.
Any of you that would like to drive up to Tom's house in Dallas after our lunch meeting, I've got plenty of room in the F350. Tom and I are going to be discussing the February event and seeing who can drink the most tequilla :LOL: Charmer P.S. Tom, I probably wont get there until about 6 pm |
