Default New Guy

I am a new guy to Club Cobra. I live in Kountze, Texas (about 70 miles from Houston) I have a CMC Cobra 80% finished. I need to finish wiring, finish paint, and finish interior. Also have 428CJ Cougar and 1963 Galaxie. I hope to meet other members. Later, David.

Welcome to the crowd! I am looking forward to seeing your car. You need to show up for our monthly meetings in one of your other cars till the Cobra is complete. We have something the first Saturday of each month. Stay tuned to Club Cobra for details.

Howdy from Austin! I'm the other CMC that Tony mentioned. Mine's been started, but never seems to be finished. What do you have in yours?

So 70 miles on which side of Houston?

Cheers,
-Neil.

Tony has a Cobra? I didn't know he had a CMC! He's always riding shotgun everytime I see him.

Welcome David! No time like the present to get the car finished! I've been to one Austin event and one Houston event. Everyone we've met has been great.
I pick up my Superformance in 3 weeks, so I'll be attending many more Texas events.
Welcome to the group!

C'mon guys, stop picking on Tony. He DOES have a CMC Cobra. Here's a pic of it as of 6 months ago...

And this is a more recent pic...

It's not too evident from the pics, but there have been changes over that time.... specifically, there's about 3/32" more dust on it in the later pic.

Hey Tony, don't know if you got my message, but you forgot the grease gun. It'll have to wait until Tuesday cause I'm in NC this week.

Happy thanksgiving everyone!
-Neil.

Default Welcome

Welcome newguy from fairlynewguy, I did not realize how many CMC owners there are out there, I do not feel so lonely any more. I might call my CMC about 60% done. By the way, any CMC guys have any headers and sidepipes laying around ? Besides the wheels, these are the only items I have not bought yet.

No headers/sidepipes (other than a damaged but repairable set of sidepipes), but I do have some CMC door brackets, hinges, and other assorted metal bracketry. If you need any of these or know anyone who does, let me know.

Cheers,
-Neil.
