SPF #1230 is home!

We made the long drive back from New Orleans today. We were towing an open trailer and according to the weather channel, the weather might be a problem. It was. We were ok until Lake Charles. First it was a slight drizzle, but by Beaumont, it was coming down. Steady to heavy rain all the way into Houston.
So, as the car dries in the garage, I'm mentally getting ready for tomorrow's install. I should get close to dropping in the engine and trans. Maybe Tuesday night I can do all the wiring and hoses. Might it fire up Wednesday? I hope!

I almost forgot - I wish I had a cam corder to film other drivers reactions to seeing the Cobra on the trailer. A few people would zoom up in the left lane, slow down to our speed, and stare. A few people got out their camers and took some shots. One guy almost ran his car off the road and another guy's jaw almost hit the floor when he realized what he was looking at! Lots of "thumbs ups" and lots of smiles and waves. Pretty funny on one hand, but I would have done the same thing!

I'm jealous. I just put some $$$ down on an LS427, first boxes should arrive in my garage sometime between now and 28DEC, (depends on when I can get down there and get it)

Greg - congrats on the purchase. How long before it's up and running?
As for pics, I'll post them in a few weeks. I need to get the engine in and get my pipes jet-hot.
