That looks doable for my 'low ceiling' garage too. It should work okay for my ERA Cobra but not sure if my 2010 GT500 (~3950 pounds) would overload it or not. By their numbers, it's too heavy but I'm wondering how much 'fudge' they give you.
How sturdy is it with a car at the highest point? Obviously, stands or such would be used...

If you watch the video ( QuickJack - Ranger BL-5000 Quick Jack - Motorsports Race Jack Stands - Race Car Pit Lift - Portable Car Lift - Garage Lift - Ranger) you'll see there's a lock bar on each side that goes in place before you go under the vehicle.
I'm looking at the 5,000 lb. model as it goes as low as 3" (same as 3,500 lb. model) and I have other vehicles to use it with. |
