Default First Saturday in June (June 6th)

I realize that May is not even scheduled and I'm talking about June but this involves coming to the WEST so I figured I would give all some time to think about it. I am proposing that, as a club, we show up "en masse" for StreetSide Classics Summer Kick Off - June 6th. streetsideclassics.com

The Car Guy show will be filming there. Registration is from 9-11 and the event goes till 3pm. If you want to register and stay the entire time, you can OR I would like to lead a few cars 5 mins away to Fred's Texas Cafe across I-35 for some great lunch (fredstexascafe.com). My plan would be to get to StreetSide about 9am with some cones to block a section off for us and then go to lunch and be done by 2:30. I am talking to Fred's ownership and I think they will block the front of the cafe for us with cones.

Weigh in and let me know if your interested. George, I know you will have to stop twice for fuel on the way over but the burgers at Fred's are worth it.

Maybe I can hook a chain on someone's bumper and then I will get there on less than 1 tank of gas! Lol

As the new kid on the block I'd like to attend as well, even though I have to drive east to do so.

Just taping her up good to run in Indy. I've been busy installing the EFI system and my new baffled fuel tank.

When I get back from Indy I am cutting the front flares off and moving them 2" outboard as I already have Bob Lacey building me a pair of 18x11's (315/30/18) for the front and a pair of 18x12's (335/30/18) for the rear.

I am getting Reg Dodd's (Backdraft CEO) spare nose he keeps on standby for his racecar. Once I get the fenders modded I will graft in the new nose....
