Default Moving to New Braunfels

Okay, so the finishing touches are being put on the car at Ultimate Classic Cars (formerly Lonestar). I wanted to reach out to any and all who are near the New Braunfels area. I have bought a house there and will be moving the first week of June. Please let me know who is around that area and maybe we can set up a meet and greet when I get there. Thanks.

Welcome to the area. I live in Creedmoor 45 minutes north. Maybe Gregg can get the Austin group together for a cruise.

Thanks for the replies. Our house is off Hwy 306 in Gruene Haven. I am planning on attending the Warrior Cobra Drive on June 19th at the Stars and Stripes drive in. Hopefully I will see some of you there.

Welcome Eric. You can see what the Austin club is up to on Yahoo Groups. Just search Austin Cobra if this link doesn't work. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...cobraclub/info
If I can get the Cobra ready for the trip to the London Ohio Cobra meet I will try to be at the drive in for the Warrior get together.
Have any of the Austin guys put anything together?

I live in the north part of San Antonio, Stone Oak. I have a Lone Star I built in 98-99 with over 26,000 miles on it now. Maybe we can get together.

I live in the Spring Branch area as well not far from New Braunfels. I think we should definitely setup a meet and greet in the area.

Thanks for the replies. I will be getting to the area the first of June. I plan on going to the Stars and Stripes event for the Warrior Cobra Drive on June 19th. I would really like to get together with all those who have replied maybe sometime toward the end of June.

By the way, here is the photo of the car. I picked it up last week. So glad to finally be driving it. Still doing my test and tune runs but should be done this weekend.

You people moving to New Braunfels are very fortunate. That is on our bucket list, should our retirement circumstances ever drastically improve. I listen to KNBT 92.1 FM at least 5 times a week, usually all weekend in the garage (if NASCAR isn't on), imagining I was down there.

Howdy

In Castroville near San Antonio. May be we can all meet some where? Northeast Side of San Antonio on a Friday night either Bikinis or Biff Buzbys both have quite a few cool cars show up.

Most the car mtg stuff is captured on South Texas Car club schedule.... Google it

Well, I've been here in New Braunfels since July 2 and still haven't heard from anyone with a Cobra, much less seen one. I go to Crosswalk Coffee House on the circle every morning around 8:30 for coffee. Hope somebody will come out and join me. Love the town! Let's hear from someone!

Jar Head, I bought a lot in Copper Ridge just outside of NB and are in the early stages of building a home there. We hope to move in in early 2016. When we are settled how about a beer or two. Love to meet everybody in TX.
