It is with a very heavy heart that I share with you the sad news that the love of my life passed away Saturday June 20th at 1:45pm. We had just completed a terrific trip to the Indy Brickyard Invitational Vintage Race where she had a great time, visiting and partying with fellow racers. She became ill on our way to St. Louis where we had planned to visit with her sister and family. Because of her compromised respiratory condition we knew that any lung issue would be fatal. As the week progressed, her health deteriorated in the ICU at St. Lukes Hospital, and on Saturday she left us resting peacefully in my arms.
Life is a precious gift and her love was the greatest gift of all. I am a fortunate man to have been blessed with her presence over the past 52 years.
I'll let you know about the arrangements for her Memorial Service, yet to be planned.
