Default New Lone Star Classics Forum

Since the buyout of Lone Star Classics, there hasn't been much activity on the UCC forum due to a number of problems. To keep this from dying out, I have created a new forum for Lone Star Classics cobras at:

http://www.lonestarclassics.org

Of course, you are welcome to join with a LSC cobra or not.

This is excellent, thanks! Too bad all the history and knowledge from the old site is gone. I wish that we could get that archive of data back.

This is great news!! Many thanks for keep it going. Is there any chance there might be sub forums included later with Texas cities i.e. Houston?

That would be awesome especially for active cities/clubs like Houston, San Antonio and Dallas. More enthusiasts and owners can see whats going on with events etc. MUCH easier in their area.

How close is the Lone Star Cobra to the Classic Roadster body?

Are there any parts that are interchangeable and can be purchased through the company that is now doing the LS bodies?

HI rick - If you know of any Texas cobra enthusiasts looking for a real nice 2002 Build, i had Brian add all the goodies and would appreciate you passing on the info i posted to the site. I know the Texas clubs would appreciate the Lonestar brand as there are probably more of them in Texas than any other state.. Thanks Mark

SnakeDoc,

I'm not familiar with the Classic roadster. I can tell you that the Lone Star body and frame are lengthened from the original 90" wheelbase to 94". This makes it a little easier on taller people like myself to ride comfortably. The lengthened area is at the center of the door.

If you wanted to interchange bodies and frames, there would be some major modification required.

Ultimate Classic Cars bought out the assets of LSC, but the body they are making now is a newer style. It has some improvements and some drawbacks. If you're looking for suspension parts, etc. those should be mostly interchangeable I would think. I do have a lot of spare parts. Let me know what you're looking for.

Smile

I bought a hard top from Lone Star in 2001 but never installed it.
It's sitting in the corner of my shop.

Default LSC forum has moved!

Hey, the forum I was using to host the LSC.org forum has moved to another hosting company. The old URL no longer works.

The new URL for the site is:
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/lonestarclassics/

See you there!

Default New Lone Star Classics web address

After the forum hosting site changed, the address was no longer easy to remember or use. To make things easier, I went ahead and registered a new domain and pointed it to the new Lone Star Classics forum. The new site is:

lonestarcobras.com

Thanks,
