Here are the numbers for the 2017 TCC Spring Meet:

123 banquet meal tickets sold.

I will have an updated count on rooms from the Embassy Suites in a couple of days but we are very close to a sell out!

Don't Fear! I have made arrangements at another hotel for extra rooms.

There is a room block of 14 rooms per night (Wed-Sat night) at the newly opened Comfort Inn which is less that 1/2 north of the Embassy on the same frontage road. Rate per night is $109.00 plus tax. This is the first year we have ever needed to go beyond the Embassy Suites for our rooming needs. Contact for the Comfort Inn and Suites will be on our website.

For those wanting some GREAT food and cold beer nearby we just came back from New Braunfels over Christmas and found two incredible places. The Hofbrau River and Beer Garden has awesome German food, wings, etc. and cold German beer on tap plus a large patio out back and plenty of parking. Also Myrons Steakhouse that is over the top in quality steaks and seafood with a great wine selection too. They also have tons of parking and a large patio out back. Both of these are just minutes from Embassy Suites and right off I35. Both of these are much better than the local BBQ joints.

Don't give away my favorite dinning spots. Now I will have to fight off you out of towners for reservations.

They are very good places to eat.
