I'm interested if they aren't terribly expensive. Mine is a 2012 kit and I believe it has the improved lower control arms but this could be my last chance to purchase future replacements.

Anyone have any suggestions or an old set they are willing to sell?

Thanks

Edit: There are no links in this post.
Lonestarcobra.com has an August 30 2016 thread by cobrapilot1 with lots of photos and information.
Front suspension modifications.
I googled up “Lonestarcobra.com August 30 2016 cobrapilot1” but I don’t think site is active now.

You have to google “lonestarcobra.com August 30 2016 cobrapilot1”.
Those are not links the forum automatically turns them into links because of the .com.
Links and photos in threads disappear with time on Club Cobra.
Just photos in galleries stay.

I'm going to call it how it is.

If you haven't broken a Lone Star lower A arm it's because you drive like an old woman
Seagull81 and JTMCOBRA like this.

Ive been looking for the pic of the original break. I can tell you the issue is the bushing tube is too light for the small arm attached to it. The HAZ where it's welded work hardens and the bushing tube splits open. I noticed mine was hanging by a sliver the morning I was about to head out for a weekend carving corners in the hill country.

I beat it back into shape, welded it, then added a strap around it and still made the Octcobrafest.

Hi Jeff,

Just wanted to ask if you've received the group pricing from Riggs Fabrication for the LCA's. I'm still interested provided the pricing is reasonable.

Thanks, Skip

I had sent email to Rigg's Fabrication to try and get a firm price on them but have not heard anything back. Been tied up with work so have not pursued it further.
