Car Show, Midway& LBJ

The Farmers Branch Police Dept, is sponsoring a Car show April the 13th. At the Walmart parking lot at Midway and LBJ, should be a fun show the Farmers Branch police are some pretty neet guy's! I'll be there.

Sounds good...what time does the show start (and does registration start earlier)?

Registration starts at 10 am, I'm sure if you get there a little early it won't hurt. I most likely will get there about 9 or 9:30. It should be fun, the Farmers Branch Cop's are a lot of fun, they stop by my house every now and then.

I should be there about 9:30 or so....I have to mail off the taxes at 9am so save me a spot too...

Make sure to mark James car well...I would hate for someone to mistake the spot for empty and hit him

Didn't you notice? After the judges saw my car, they just decided give me TWO trophies.

One, for the best car (of course)

And the second trophy was for their condolences. They felt sorry that my car had to share the parking lot with a car that should have been exhibited in the PRODUCE section

Don't have many pictures from the car show but here is one with the beautiful thunderstorm clouds in the background

Most of us abandoned the show early with reports hail on the way.

I took the car and had to go back to find one of my chairs that I left. And when I did, I found out the Corvette club was making fun of us for leaving early

Fred (392 Cobra) brought his new LS427 (quite nice) and braved the storm to be the 1st place winner! Congrats, Fred.

I also have two trophies the show coordinators gave me to distribute at our descretion becvause they could not finish the judging before the rain.

One, for Matt Tice (427Aggie) , who won for "Best Texas Tech Red Raider Car" (well, they didn't exactly write that on the plaque) . Congrats Mathew!

and the second trophy is up for grabs between Dave and Rich. Both of you have beautiful cars so I can 't decide. SO if you want the trophy, call me and you can have it. (first one to call, wins the trophy)
