Carlos and Charlies?
Okay; Who showed up at "Carlos and Charlies"? Sorry but I had a wedding to attend. On my way to the church, a saw a red with white stripe Cobra go by on Hwy71, was that you Jeff?
Are we through for April, or are we still doing something this month. Somebody speak up, the lack of Austin dialog is miffing me.
May be the 2002 Spring Meet zapped all the Austin members.

Ed it looks like you are all by your lonesome over there.
Find those guys before the 18th and meet us in Fayettville.

Ed, Don't know if I'm the Jeff you were directing your message to, but no, it wasn't me. My car is VERY green. I put a hole in my oil pan and am currently out of circulation. I live in Lakeway and would be happy to meet up with another Cobra owner(s) out here for a ride down Hamilton Pool rd to Johnson City or somewhere as soon as I get my car back together. Maybe this weekend... Agreed, the Austin guys have been quiet....

Not Quiet Just very Busy at Work.
Sorry everyone,
I wish I could have gone to C & C's but I've been working pretty late and really putting the nose to the grind stone. Might be able to break off a weekend in May. June is completely out. SO I guess July. Hope you guys had fun.

Hey guys. Well, still no motor yet. Otherwise, I'd be driving non stop - I miss the beast.
Hopefully, I'll get it later this week and have it in over the weekend.
Dennis, Fayettville on the 18th sounds great. I'll do a little research and see what I can turn up.

Here is some info on Fayetteville. They have restaurants, B&B's, and lots of shade.

Hi Jeff Richard (Welcome Aboard); Your the second green Cobra from Lakeway I know of. Scott Lougheed also has a green with white stripe Excaliber Cobra who also lives in LakeWay. Give me a call when your Cobra is up and running. I live off of Hwy 71 in OakHill. I love cruising the Hill Country, this Austin traffic sucks.
No, I was referring to Jeff Bedell who has a red with white stripe Legend Cobra.
As for the rest of you (Richard O, Kyle R, Gerhardt G, Joe Z, Jeff B, Scott L, Neil A, and John W) - Whasssss Up? A little acknowlegement would be nice. At least we would know if you're still around town and want to meet or cruise.
My next question is: Are we finished with April, and shooting for May?

Ed, My Cobra is on the road again. New oil pan, New Edelbrock carb, tuned and ready to GO! BTW mine is metallic green with light green stripes. I grew up in the hill country and know tons of great roads. let's ride. Everyone else, too. I really would like to meet more Cobra owners. We need to have a meet soon. This is too much fun...

It was me...
Yes Ed, I believe you probably did see me last Saturday. We took a cruise to Llano via 71 to the Crawfish boil and had a blast. Got back in time to head to Carlos-n-Charlies around 8 but ended up at the new Johnny Finn's instead. It's what used to be Sam Hill restaurant. Not much changed, new name. I could have swore I saw many of you talking about going up to Llano for that weekend but I didn't see any other hot rods except for 2 wheelers. Sorry I will have to miss the Fayetteville gathering. As I mentioned in my other thread, I will be at a race event at Mosport in Canada that weekend. Anyone want to go? Hey Neil...I hear you don't have much to do....
