Default Anyone want to order a cockpit cover?

At the Austin TCC meet yesterday 4 people expressed an interest in ordering the cockpit cover that Roscoe uses. These are $59.95 plus shipping and look really nice (see pic). I figure (no guarantees) that if I get a big enough interest, California Car Covers may give us a bit of a discount?

Anyone else interested please send me an email. I will order on Wednesday, the 31st.

Here's the poop. They'll give me a 10% discount for at least 6 covers. We now have 6 people. If you are out of state though, You'll have to cover the shipping from me to you. I can handle that on a one-on-one basis. Shipping and all should total ( for local people) ~$60.00 per person.

How's that sound?

We currently have one for:

Ren Man
Justa6
Blake Olson
Rich Ludwig
Kyle Robinson
nawats
Gregg (What's his name?)

Any more takers???

Unhappy CRAAAAP!

Just ordered mine the first of the week! Saw Roscoe's picture and had to have one. I order several other items from them, as well, so my shipping costs aren't too bad. Wish I had seen your note earlier in the week, I would have sure taken part in it.

FYI..Calif Car Cover has some other great stuff, too. Not all Cobra related, but some nice stuff just the same. Check 'em out.
Love their rubber jack pads and jack stand pads, too. They really protect your frame and prevent your jack from scratchin' up the paint.

These are actually made for the Mazda Miata but here is a comment from Roscoe: "My fit is pretty damn good. I'd like to put
another strap on each side and I may do that. However, it fits fine the way it is. The only thing I would add is that my roll bar is not as high as, say, an FFR. I don't think it will fit as well on one of those. Other than that I recommend it highly."

Unhappy Is it too Late?

Dave,

Is it too late?

Sorry I didn't respond early. I was on vacation and just hopped on the old computer today. I suppose a day late and a car cover short

One final note... I took the liberty of ordering everyone a storage bag for the cover. Just keeps the trunk and the cover neat and clean. Now, I know I didn't ask anyone if you want one so, if you don't that's OK. I ordered 7 of them, one for each of us. The cost is only $5.00 more. So, if you'd like one of these just include an extra Abe Lincoln in with your payment.

Hope I didn't offend anyone by doing this?

Regards,

Dave

ps: Turnaround is about 2 weeks.
