Thumbs up Great Time Had!

Well Tony, John, and myself decided to cruise to Wimberly Saturday morning since no one else showed up at Lakeway.

Stretch called me Saturday morning and said he couldn't make it because he had a bad oil leak problem and had to shut down the engine. How's the 700 HP SPF doing?

We meet with Glenn Garrett and had a tour of his Beck Spider Motorsports facility. Glenn is out of the rental business and is building Spiders.

After lunch we cruised back to Austin and Tony tweaked my carb for me. The FFR is running better now.

That's it for this month. See everyone next month. Stretch still has the ball for October. Hopefully we will have a better turn out next month.

Tony; Any time you need a ride just ask. Thanks for the carb tweak. The FFR is running great. I'll change the plugs out this weekend. Thanks for your advice.

Stretch; How's your 700HP SPF? Did you save the engine?

Hey Ed,

The motor is fine. I shut the car off as soon and the leak occured, before the pressure dropped below 40. It took me a few hours on Saturday to clean everthing up but it's fine now - cleaner than ever! Sorry I couldn't make the trip on Saturday, just bad luck. I was up until 2 am Saturday morning trying to make the repair and get it ready.

Looking forward to October. We've GOT to get things cranked back up here in Austin.

Stretch
