				 Houston to Corpus cruise
As Dennis mentioned, it appears we have 5 cars heading to Corpus from Houston for Paul's event. Shall we head down together?I won't know for a couple of days if I'm leaving Friday afternoon or early Saturday morning, but I thought I'd get the idea out there.
 Who's interested?

Scott, how's Jack? Ken Smith and I were talking about all of us getting together Friday about 1:00 PM and making a relatively "Leisurely Paced" trip to Corpus along the coast. Possibly taking 35 and enjoying the ride. Ken is going to look around and find a good "Meet-Up Spot" in Houston. I think we should all go together if possible. There are several that are yet undecided about going. I am looking forward to the weekend. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Later, David.

Jack is doing great. 16 days old now and has gained some weight. He got the thumbs up from the Dr. after his first visit. All is well.
I'll find out in a couple of days if I can leave Friday. The leisurely coast cruise sounds good to me.

Scott and david, today I beat the weather (for once) and put a few road miles on the 2x4 setup (minor tuning needed, but overall a SUCCESS!). I drove down to the TX 35/South Loop area, and here's the deal: it looks like the best all-around spot to meet is Kelly's Restaurant, located at northwest corner of Park Place and I-45 (Gulf Freeway); go south on the Gulf Freeway and take the Broadway/Park Place exit just south of the South Loop 610. It is only a few blocks east of TX 35. If that is a good location, I will get there Friday about 11:30, we can have a bite to eat if anyone is interested, then saddle up and cruise south at 1 pm. They've goot a fairly big parking lot, and maybe we could use cones and save an area for the snakes (anyone got cones?).Alternative would be to just meet at 12:30-1pm and head south when everyone gets there. Either way we'll need a tentative head count and maybe mobile numbers so we don't leave without anyone.
 Any thoughts or better ideas?

Looks like everything is set. How about the rest of you Houstonites? We could have our monthly meeting in Corpus! Now all we need is about another 6 or 8 or 10 more Cobras from the Houston area. We will have fun! Guys my cell # (409) 782-7385 (I guess I should clean my car up a little) I'll talk to y'all later, David Shelton. |

If anyone is going to be heading south on I-35 and through San Antonio...myself, Ryan, and Tony are going to be meeting on friday afternoon around 1:00pm'ish. Anyone from austin/waco/or DFW that isn't routing through houston...we'll post a time/place this week.

Looks like I'm making the early Saturday cruise as opposed to meeting you guys on Friday. I'm bringing my brother down and Friday's not going to work for us.So, have fun without us on Friday, and I'll see you guys at 9am Saturday at the Ford dealership.
If anyone else is heading down early Saturday morning, let me know.

I wasn't going into work Friday but it looks like I will have to go in for a morning meeting. I should still make Kelly's by 1 but I'll be pushing it. I will let you guys know if I am running late so that you can take off without me if you need to.
