Looks like a re-focus in in order!!

It appears that Dee has just been handed a pair of loaded dice by our two "potential" hotels. I am of the opinion the Austin group REALLY needs to join forces and concentrate HEAVILY on finding a host hotel as a TOP priority immediately!!
We now have a YEARLY event that is scheduled to start in AUSTIN in 56 days, and we do not have a base yet!!!!
I will be glad to start looking for a base hotel in the Dallas metroplex area on January 1st, 2003 as a fall back is case this is the year that our event "just fell through the cracks". I am NOT trying to cause any problems, but I am not about to let this die on the vine, and I really can't do much in Austin from here!
