A B&B Cobra is Alive - San Antonio, Tx
Yesterday afternoon, Craig Bachmeyer gives me a call and says he ready to "fire the motor". So after work I head over there to assist.
after pre-oiling, putting a litte gas in...and checking everything one more time...turned the key...let the fuel pump begin to suck the fuel..and after a few seconds...VROOOOOOM...man..what a motor.
This car is amazing. Craig has not overlooked any detail. Even the brake calipers are painted. It's surely going to be an amazing car. He's expecting the body back from the painter in the next week or so. He tried to get it done by this weekend, but you know how it goes. You'll see it around at some of the other events soon.
After-all..it was a bare frame in November.

Craig's mechanic friend, Leroy, adjusted and set the timing..

Craig,
Sounds good to have one more Cobra in San Antonio. When I first started mine Everyone stopped by to hear it run. By the end of that first week, I started to tell them to bring GAS. Do you feel like you just won the lottery?(I know I did) Look forward to seeing it , bring it to Austin. Good luck
