Default WATER WETTER

I DRAINED MY ANTIFREEZE LONG AGO AND ADDED COOLING SYSTEM CONDITIONER AND LUBRICANT, THE WHITE STUFF. NEXT ONE BOTTLE OF WATER WETTER.
NEVER RUNS ABOVE 190 DEG, EVEN WITH AC AND A SUPERCHARGER IN HOT S. FLA WEATHER.
THE TEMP WAS ALL OVER THE HIGH END 190-220+DEG ANTIFREEZE. WATER WETTER USED WITH THE PROPER ANTIFREEZE RATIO IS ALMOST UNNOTICABLE.

Ed The poors in the block and the block its self will hold the green anti frezz in it .If you could see what the change from one to another did to one of our customers car its not good take my word .I would stay with Preston Green and Distill water. If you have rust in the system it would be a good Idea to flush treat with conditioner and then do your GREEN prestone anti Frezze

Post Flush Treat with Conditioner

I got 50/50 mix of Prestone green antifreeze and distilled water in my FFR. So I will continue with the same stuff. I've been running 170 to 180 degrees all year.

Next question, flush treat with conditioner. Any conditioner recommendations?

Ed,

You should be totaly confused at this point!! I toooold you what you should use!!!!! Just kidding! Pull up Prestone on you web site and check out their info. I think most of the advice you recieved by our clan is good. I do have some reservations about running straight water in aluminum head applications. I have seen the results of this, and it was not good.

Default Too Many Choices!

Thanks for everyone's recommendations.

Has anyone used Prestone Quick Fill in their Cobras?
