Since the other thread was already 4 pages long, with 7-8 different topics, I thought I'd post a 'fresh' one.
BTW---Talked with Robert @ Hi-PerRods, and it looks like he's going to trailer down one of the Backdraft Racing Demo Turn-Key Minus cars for all of us to druel over. If you're interested in a new cobra...come on out give it a look see..
Directions to Joe Garlands:
O.K. Folks! Let's set the meeting for March 22nd. Try to arrive around 10:00. If the weather is good, I'll have a cruise planned. We can have barbeque for lunch in Elgin or we can take a run to Roundtop, Texas and catch lunch there at Royer's Round Top Cafe.
DIRECTIONS: Take 290 East out of Austin. When you get to Elgin, approx. 20 miles from Austin, you will see an HEB grocery on your right. Go to the second entrance and make a right. Go along the side of HEB, veer left over the railroad tracks and you will dead end at Central Ave. Turn right. Go approx. 1/8 mile and take a right into the first concrete driveway. Go past the guest house on your left and come up to main house.
Wives and girlfriends are welcome. If you can reply on this thread as to whether you can attend and the number in your group it will help me with the arrangements. See you soon!

I haven't raised the FFR windshield yet, I'm waiting on Mike to come over when he has a chance. I temporally shimmed the windshield so I can do short runs around the neighborhood.

 Were going to miss you butttttt!!! What about the Waco BBQ on April 12th. meet? It's not that far to go, and they might appreciate a few more cars at their event. I know that Tony, alia's Mustang Mendez and crew plus Pat and I are planning to go. So let's stretch a lttle bit and head North

Regrets.....Jacque and I will not be able to make this one - we have work to do on our rent house that cannot wait.
Battery issue??? Don't know what that was about - I put the battery charger on it while we were out in the limo with Ed and when I got home the battery was charged and has stayed charged since then - starts just fine - don't know???????.

What are the plans if it rains? The guys hang out in Joe's garage, and the girls hang out in Pat's greenhouse?  All I know is that I'm ready for some of the Elgin sausage.

I saw a 50% chance of rain....but we'll have to see in the AM.. you never know here in Texas.
Also...I wanted to invite everyone to see Cory Morrow saturday night in austin.
He's playing at the first annual "Poodie Fest" @ the new amphitheater in Spicewood on HWY 71.
Line Up includes:
Cory Morrow
The Derailers
Reckless Kelly
South Austin Jug Band
and more.
If you are interested, I will gladly set you up with tickets for the show, and backstage passes..
(for those of you that don't know, "poodie" lock, is Willie Nelson's tour manager...he owns a watering hole in spicewood called Poodies Hilltop Bar and Grill)
