I believe that was NAJA. Last year his car overheated on the ground floor and ended up on a trailer. This year he made it up top and made it to Gruene but overheated in the parking lot. After lunch the car would not start and I gave him a ride back to the hotel to get his trailer.

Am I right?

John

Thumbs up John beat me to it.......

His name is Frank Newman from Deer Park. Didn't he blow a radiator hose right in front of the Origin garage?

Thumbs up CLOSE

JOHN YOU ARE CLOSE AND RIGHT IN ONE WAY. NAJA DID NOT MAKE IT TO THE ORIGIN GARAGE ON TCCII. THE FACT THTAT YOU MENTIONED GREUNE MEANS THAT HE HAD OTHER PROBLEMS AT TCCIV.

WE MET UP AGAIN AT HEARTLAND PARK IN TOPEKA WHERE HIS TRANNY OVERNEATED. HE DOES HAVE ONE OF THE BEST PAINT JOBS AND COULD NOT BE PICTURED IN KIT CAR MAG BECAUSE THE GHOST SNAKE WOULD NOT SHOW UP.

HE IS ALSO ONE OF TWO OWNERS OF AN L.A. CAR IN THE CLUB.

SOMEONE ELSE TAKE THE NEXT QUESTION BEFORE I START THINKING AGAIN

JAY

AFTER FIRTHER REVIEW JOHN AND JIM ARE BOTH RIGHT AND THERE IS NO FOUL.

Wink OKAY

THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN CARL FROM GRAND PRAIRIE IN HIS CLASSIC ROADSTER WITH SADDLE INTERIOR. THE CAR WAS SOLD ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO. FOUR YEARS AGO AT AUTORAMA IN DALLAS THE CAR CAUGHT FIRE WHILE BEING MOVED INTO THE SHOW. THEY USED THE EXTINGUISHER TO PUT IT OUT. CARL CLEANED ON THE CAR ALL DAY AND THAT NIGHT. STILL WON BEST OF CLASS IN FULL RADICAL CUSTOM HANDBUILT.

SINCE AER IS COMING UP, HOW ABOUT AN AER SHOW QUESTION? LAST YEAR AND THE YEAR BEFORE, THERE WERE ABOUT 20 COBRAS EACH YEAR. THE QUESTION IS HOW MANY COBRAS WERE IN THE SHOW THE YEAR PRIOR?

I was going to say two, but I figured I had forgot one one so I guessed at three. So Since I have used up my turn I gues I can't guess again. I do know there were VERY few Cobras there. Seems like Tom told me this some time ago. Dangit

Smile ANSWER

IT WAS A BLUSTERY DAY IN EARLY MAY WITH RAIN IN THE FORECAST. PRPBABLY THE FEWEST CARS I HAVE EVER SEEN AT AER.

CORY HESS AND I WERE THE ONLY COBRAS TO SHOW UP. THEY EVEN PUT US IN A DIFFERENT PLACE...AGAINST THE BUSHES AT THE BACK OF THE PARKING LOT.

IT IS QUITE A TRIBUTE TO TCC THAT WE WENT FROM 2 CARS TO 20 SOMETHING IN ONE YEAR. I WISH I WAS GOING TO MAKE AER THIS YEAR BUT WE WILL BE RACING. I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A BLAST.

STEVE, I HAD TO DEVELOPE MY MEMEORY LIKE MY MOM'S IN SELF DEFENCE (INSIDE JOKE WITH YOU AND I)

SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS TO ASK NOW. I FORGOT MY NEXT QUESTION

JAY

Question Speaking of Age

New question about older Cobra - not an ole man. TCC Austin - who has brought the oldest Cobra to the event? Second oldest? I think I know the answer and sent a couple of e-mails this morning to confirm.

I believe my Unique may hold the record for the newest Cobra in Austin. Started the engine 12 days before the event, plates on Wed - inspection on Friday morning & then loaded on the trailer to meet up with the Dallas convoy for Austin. I believe it had 21 miles when it arrived in Austin Feb '02.

Anybody know the oldest Cobra?
