Thanks to all.
I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone that came out to help me paint the new restaurant and rip down the old awing! I really owe you guys and gals a debt of gratitude. I could not have done it without you.
I was a bit (yea! a bit!) optimistic about how long it would take me to open. I figured one day to clean, one to paint, one to do the floors and one to get the menu and register ready to go. Well, here it is on day 3 of 4 and I'm still painting! I seriously underestimated what it would take to apply paint to a 105 year old building, plus put in a new air conditioning system and clean the grime off of everything that the previous owners neglected to do for nearly their entire 20 year stint ! I would not have eaten there myself prior to the cleaning! The cleaning crew has been there for two days and are coming back tomorrow too.
Again, it would good seeing all of you and many thanks for your help. When we get up and running perhaps we can host a TCC meet at "Nonna's Cucina"? I'll be able to email everyone a menu in a week or so.
Best Regards,
