Guys - Thanks for the comments.

The color is Indigo Blue with Titanium stripes. It was painted by Tony Stefan in CT. He said it was the third car in a row that he has painted Indigo Blue. I guess I'm neither original nor authentic, but I do love the combination.

The photos were taken by my wife and son. They both have a much better eye than me. The photos were taken near sunset with a Canon D40Z. I belive the settings were 1020 by 740 in a JPG format. To reduce the files for posting, I right click on the photos on my computer and choose the option that allows me to email the photos. Windows XP asks if you want to reduce the file to save space. I say yes, then save the reduced files to my hard drive. The size seems to be about right for posting. It is not elegant, but seems to work. It's kinda like counting cows by counting the number of legs and dividing by 4.

The car was delivered at the beginning of March. Much of it was completed by ERA, but we left just enough undone so that my son and I would have a nice project before he entered college in the fall. In a way, I hate to see the "build" end because it was fun, but I know the real fun is just beginning. Also, I understand that these cars are never "done".

I hope to make it to the next Houston meeting with the car. I'm trying to get it inspected, titled and registered within the next week. Also, safety wire is going on this weekend.

JWheaton - Very funny. BTW we used to live in Trumbull. Love that part of the country.

JWheaton and Chaplin - You may want to consider the hood treatment that I had done. I've attached a couple pictures. It really does look cool.

Thanks,

Ron Randall did the hood. He is an ERA owner, living in CT, and a Club Cobra member.

He has a business where they apply a thin metal coating to almost anything. He picked the hood up at ERA, took it to his shop for a couple of days and delivered it back to ERA. Good guy and great service!

Jamie-
Where are you on the waiting list at ERA? How much longer? My car was just returned to ERA yesterday from the painter. I'm going up there Sat. to check it out, get some pics and ask Peter why it's not finished yet

Rick-
The car really did come out great. I can only hope that mine looks as good.

Mike

Love the color, love the details. Great work on a great car. I second the comments on the picture taking. Enjoy it.

Chaplin,

I am an unfortunate casuality of this crappy economy.

As soon as I ask them to start they will start the build going. I have just been on the shelf for really the past year while getting married, having kid and being "reorganized".

I am actually looking to move to your area by the end of summer. If things go well with an assignment I am on currently I should have my income back up to normal.

Will probably move to either Ridgewood, Allendale (my preference), Glen ROck, hohokus and we might look into Wyckoff as well.

Once that move happens by luck I will have extra cash flow to get the car started -- go figure but it works that way.

That sucks (not the marriage or kid- the reorganization). Hopefully it won't be long. Ridgewood's nice, but I've never been to Allendale. I think you should move to Hohokus, just because it's fun to say You can't help but say Hoo-Hoo-Kus (in your best Santa Clause voice) every time you drive by.
