Dallas May meeting - AER?
There was some discussion on Saturday about where next month's meeting was going to be. And I just realized today that AERs car show is May 1st, so I thought I'd go ahead and mention it now.

A.E.R CAR SHOW
Saturday, May 01, 2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The North Texas Mustang Club will hold their Spring Classic Car Show at AER Manufacturing 1605 Surveyor Blvd in Carrollton, all the Proceeds benefit the Helen McGraw Kidney Texas Inc. The entry Fee $20 and Registration begins at 8:00am AER Manufacturing is celebrating SPRING By sponsoring a display of the finest classic cars, trucks and motorcycles anywhere. AER Manufacturing has arranged for Outstanding Trophies worthy of the automobiles on display. There will be plenty of Good Food and Drinks, plus Lots of Door Prizes. I believe we have a tradition to support our friends at AER at their car show on May 1st each year! These people have opened their arms to us since we formed our club, so we need to make a showing in force. I will be there again! John Russell |
IHOP, Engines and Cobra's
I have to admit I do not get to addison much any more... but where is there an ihop a midway & Beltline?
So looking at the schedule this "starts" at about 8 am... so what time does everyone plan on getting to AER and then walking to IHOP.... You will have a ball ! No doubt about it ! Don't know if you have ever been there but it is unbelieveably beautiful. Sailed past them during a 7 day trans-atlantic. Made it back to the Leewards a few years later and chartered a sailboat to do some cruising on my honeymoon. You & Marge going really brings it all back. Hope you post some pictures.:D Have a wonderful time.:D :D |

Dang it, I HATE this!!
What a true BUMMER!!!!!!!
It looks like I am not in control of my weekend once again, and will only to be with you all for a very short time on Saturday. Lyndsie will be playing in the Regional Volleyball tournament in Arlington, and we have to be there at 1:00pm sharp!:( :( I will be up to see my friends a little before 10:00am and for a quick SCAT board meeting and then have to scoot back home to head to the tournament. There is a possibility my car might make it to the show, but I am waiting on a decision from a good friend! Oh well, I am going to call Bill Wages an let him know & hope to see all you lucky participants there. John Russell |

All I look forward to is my Mint Julep and not missing the Call. This year I'm growing my very own mint from a cutting at the middle school from hell. I'm sure they weren't planning on it's use for cocktails, but by God after the crap I go thru there, that's exactly what went thru my mind. :D |

Severe thunderstorms are predicted for tonight and into tomorrow. do you know when they will announce if it is being moved to their "rain date" of next weekend? I'm trying to get my ducks in a row! Well the weather forcast this morning doesn't look good. Tom what time will they announce a rain delay?
I know that its suppost to start raining tonight and rain heavy into the morning and up till about 12 or 1pm. If they delay the car show are we going to still have the meeting and then the show the next weekend or just move the meeting to the second Saturday to stay with the show? I have a birthday party on Sat - my daughters. But, if the Royal Rooster is getting up at the crack of dawn to buy us all breakfast on a rainy morning, I'll be there.
