Free Food!

HA!

I knew that would get your attention!

I work at Mazzios Pizza in Atoka, Oklahoma, about 30 miles north of the Red River.

It would please me to buy lunch for any Cobra drivers who would like to stop in. (please the owner, too, you betcha)

Middle of town, west side. Big parking lot.

Ask for Todd. I'll probably stick around until 1-2 PM.

Buffet (nice) on Friday.

I have to work all three days of Tulsa.

Do wonders for UT's prestige with the kids he works with- they think is lying about BDR # 139.

PM me if you want in- I don't have a clew how many of you folks are headed north.

UT

Doug I 06-07-2004 06:14 PM

Free food ........ and pizza at that and not a reply :(

if it wasn't ... like ... so many hours away we'd be there sampling some of that Texan pizza and listening to UT regailing us with his adventures in his car. Or at least the adventures he has planned to have in his crar. ;) Just as well it doesn't have a backseat otherwise we might ........ :3DSMILE:

UT - you gotta be about done with that waiting game. If it was me I'd change the rules or sumthin.

Enjoy the drive - when it arrives

regards

casaleenie 06-07-2004 06:35 PM

No such thing as a free lunch.....

uncltodd 06-09-2004 12:37 PM

Yeah, there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

I want to see the restaurant's front windows rattle!

And I'm sucking up to the Texas Cobra Club members. I really want to meet these folks.

After all, they are almost Okies.

UT

Doug I 06-09-2004 01:28 PM

They are a great bunch of people. If they let me in from La then you'll be a shoe-in from Ok - that and you have a car. I think I did have to bribe them with some of wife's cooking though ;) :3DSMILE:

Boudy is a Cajun so maybe that helped :)

BMK 06-10-2004 04:35 AM

Rattle those windows!!!

Ok, LA, Texas..

**)

Come on over, I'll shout you some free food. The Boss is standing right behind me....

But she's OK with that.. you bring the beer

Pizza now that sounds like a good offer for you there. No "Two for One deal" just "Free Pizza"

UT, just how do you do it? Must have a big Promo budget!

Cheers - hope you get those windows to rattle. %/

Bernie, tomorrow's the Big Day, for travel to Tulsa, I guess.

I suppose the Baja Oklahoma Club ain't hungry.

Zip responses.

I'm still here, the offer still stands...
but I wangled a lunch date tomorrow with Sweetness...

Tell them to put it on Todd's tab- not a problem, Mazzios, Subway, or Taco Mayo, done deal.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, same done deal.

Friday I get to have lunch with 4 out of 5 of the main women in my life. They range from 2 to 52 years of age.

The Cobras are totally "Lost in the Future" tomorrow.

Four out of five. Wow...

Lord, this lunch is gonna cost me... especially if Cobras show up in the parking lot at lunch time.

TCC, lunch is on me.

Didn't mean that to rhyme.

Turk 06-11-2004 08:07 AM

I'll take one of those pizzas if they are available frozen and can be shipped?

uncltodd 06-12-2004 02:20 PM

WTH?

Hey, Lil' Cobra and BH showed up Thursday afternoon, a hour after I left work.

Naturally, the airhead kids I work with didn't call me.

No indication of excitement from the Kids, maybe they trailer their Snake. I would, it's about 250 miles from Big D to Tulsa in the hot sun.

This Tulsa thing must be a Really Big Deal if you leave Dallas a day early.

Mea Culpa.

Next year I will know.

It would be nice to snag a few TCC's on the way back Sunday, but I'm not holding my breath. Wish I could get word to them, I have no idea how many went north from DFW or wherever up US69.

BDR #139 is still vacationing in the Bahamas.

Hopefully not snorkling.

Or on a slow boat to China.

G.R. 06-12-2004 06:09 PM

I think I saw a Cobra container being off-loaded in Seattle yesterday--   BDR%/ think that's what the container said.

uncltodd 06-12-2004 06:56 PM

Gary-

"Su madre cantarleme in las cacas de wehalotes."

In my poor 40-year-old Espanol,

"May your Mother dance in turkey manure."

Spanish is a wonderful language to curse in.

I WANT MY COBRA!!!

I sit in my lounge chair in the back yard sipping a refreshing adult

beverage and holler "Wannna! Wanna! Wanna!"

My neighbors think I am nuts.

When the BDR gets here they will be certain.

With my '55 Chevy in the early 60's it was Uuudn, Uuudn, Uuudn.

Different carburettion, different cam.

I really, really want Texas Cobra Club T-shirts for me, Wife , and especially College Girl.

Seattle, Huh?

Say hi! to the cold drizzle.

If and when my BDR arrives, it will have a ragtop and ... a heater!

Look, I am crazy, not stupid. This will give me about 2 months' extra drive time in my climate. But with the twin roll bars, the litlle car with ragtop in place will be butt-ugly.

Dam transplanted CalifOkies I never insulted your mother:LOL:

I know what it is like!-- worse than when you were a kid waiting for Christmas day--you jump for the phone every time it rings, only to be disappointed. The waiting sucks but buddy it is worth it the first time you climb behind the wheel and fire it up---gaaruuuanteed to bring a smile, ear to ear, you can't get rid of--then people really think you've lost it--you seem to do lots of that, grinning and chuckling. Every time you look in your garage you'll get that same goofy grin:LOL:

Will be there soon I'm sure.

%/ Could the ship's crew have been busted for trying to do a little "side importing" Nah;)

BMK 06-12-2004 10:38 PM

UT

Did that container ship just pass by here?. Some problem with trans shipping sent back to S/Africa. 'GR' what do you know?

%/

Will keep an eye out and re direct if it passes by the south coast here. The least I can do for a fellow Cobra enthusiast. Hell we are big hearted in Australia.

**)

Then again a BDR in South Australia for a month for road testing would be the least I could do..

%/

BDR that sounds like a great ride. Had a good look at both the display Cobra and the competitive car at last years Run N Gun at Gateway Raceway in Missouri.

The two looked really good. The BDR will be well worth waiting for.

Have I missed details previously "Posted" by you UT?

What is the BDR specs. On what have you decided?

I know the feeling of waiting for the Cobra. My car has finally gone to the paint shop. So its time to clean the garage and do all those small repairs around the house and the restaurant.

Here I decided on Guardsman blue with white and lemon yellow over guard. Should look good.

I "Posted" a few questions to get the colour right on 'All Cobra Talk". The 'clubcobra' was great here with some good information and ideas coming through.

Keep the count down going.

Cheers

Bernie

Todd: I left my card for you when I passed through because you had gone home. Did you get it?

thanks, and I look forward to receiving my reimbursement in the mail!!!

sorry you weren't there, and yes, I did trailer it, and I would have opened the trailer and started Pepe up IF you had been there, but no, you were gone by 12:30...... maybe next year.....;)

the pizza was delicious... :)

Boudy and Pepe's Mama-

I go to work at 6AM and usually bail about 11.

Never gave any thought to you folks heading north a day before the show!

Boudy, you turd-bird, I live three minutes south of the restaurant and you can see my house from the highway!

Hey,Lil Cobra, I apologize. Mea Culpa. Would love to have heard Pepe light off in the parking lot.

Standing offer:

TCC members eat lunch FREE at Mazzios Pizza in Atoka, OK.

Emphasis on "Lunch" due to my work schedule.

Just call the restaurant in the AM and let me know you are coming.

580 889 8855 and ask for Todd.

Boudy- is #38 the red/silver twin-roll-bar rig I test drove in Feb.?

Awesome little machine, man.

BTW- has the posse tracked down BDR #139 in the Bermuda Triangle?

UT

392cobra 06-14-2004 02:44 PM

I thought that number 139 looked familiar.%/

A BDR was delivered to my house while I was out a few weeks ago.

Been looking it over and really admiring it.
Thought it was a gift from Boudy.

Are you sure yours is #139 ??? :(

hey,littlecobra 06-14-2004 03:04 PM

yours, fred??

Fred-- you'd get a new toy? Is that why you weren't at Tulsa?

thank goodness, as I probably would have "lost again" if you'd been there!!;) ;) :3DSMILE:

What about candy apple red???

So being the kind of person I am,I stepped up to the plate.:3DSMILE:

Kristen,
