Well, I did hang with the Vipers, Vettes, cool trucks, etc., but mostly just to wave them by....
Actually, I think my purpose was for them to practice patience, and wait and see when I was going to let them go around. I was helping them learn driving techniques!!
I mean, after all, the front car has the right of way....
So, I was thinking I was packing it up for the day, but I had failed to set the video camera correctly for my videographer, (Jim!) and we needed another session so he could get the full effect on the video. Out I went again, to do a few laps for the t.v. crew. I hadn't refueled, and I was beginning to worry I might run out of gas on the track!! We all know I've been there before....
It was awesome Jay, and I'm really glad you were there, too! Your setup looks good. Looking forward to October.....
I'm just glad I didn't mess up the car, (too much
), and once again, I'm taking Pepe back to KC after a track day.... I've got to stop the track thing as it costs too much to fix after the fun!
Too bad about Terry (another Cobra) and the Viper. Hopefully they'll get patched up quick and easy. Bump, bump... It sure feels faster than it looks. But I had a great time.
Thanks for the push, (AGAIN!!) Seems we keep meeting at "push Pepe" times!!!
