Arrow Harris County Traffic Issues-CANCELLED

The Lone Star Fiero Club has invited us to attend this interesting meeting on Oct.16th as their guest.

Below is the information and directions on how to get there.

Hope some of you will be able to attend.

"Harris County Traffic and Safety Issues"
October 16th - 10:30am
Sheriff’s Office, 3400 Clinton, 77020

This will be presented by Lt. John Denholm, Commander of the Traffic
Enforcement Division of the Harris County Sheriff's department. Lt. Denholm is a 23 year veteran of the Harris County
Sheriff's Office who is currently assigned as the Commander of the
Traffic Enforcement Division.

He began his law enforcement career in 1975 as a military policeman at
Ft. Hood, TX and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from the University of Central Texas. Currently, he is attending Law School at the South Texas School of Law. Lt. Denholm has trained in both
Accident Investigation and Managing Police Traffic Services by
Northwestern University in addition to training in Freeway Incident Management by the National Highway Institute. In his current assignment, he is responsible for the supervision of investigations of over 100 fatality crashes, 300 fleet crashes and 7000 other crashes in Harris County each year.

Because of the time and effort involved, this meeting will be open to
the general public. Any one who drives a vehicle in Harris county and surrounding areas is encouraged to attend. So everyone is encouraged to invite their friends, neighbors, and countrymen to attend this meeting.
It could open their eyes and save their lives.

How to get to Sheriff's office:
If east on 10, exit at Jensen /Gregg / Meadows exit. (1st exit past 59-Victoria). Turn right on Jensen, then left on Clinton (1st light). Go east on Clinton for 3/8 mile and you will see us on the right.

If coming from southwest Houston or Gulf freeway, get on 59, take the East 10 exit and do this (but stay out of the express lanes).

If going west on 10, exit at Gregg / Meadows. Turn left on Gregg. You will dead-end at Clinton at the light. We are on the corner of Clinton and Gregg.

If coming from Humble, take 10 W (San Antonio) and exit at San
Jacinto / Main. U-turn, get back on the freeway eastbound and
exit at Jensen / Meadows / Gregg. This is easiest because of
construction and that 10 East ramp is closed.
