You know there is not a lot of talk about these kinds of issues until the enemy is at the back gate. SEMA is doing some awesome "proactive" work in getting new legislation inacted before some state official comes knocking on a car owner's door and wants their "recently declared invalid" auto title. I wonder what is cooking out there (good or bad) for us Texans. I know from various posts that we have collectively taken various routes to titling and each route seems to have its own logic and or reason behind it. But what is the correct route? I wonder if anyone is taking a proactive stance in Texas to get the kind of clean, clear, logical and reasonable legislation described by SEMA passed in our state.
Is there anybody out there who is active in state politics or consumer advocacy that knows if anything is happening close to home?
