No experience needed. Now is your big chance to really enjoy that performance car on a safe racecourse with instructors.
Where: No Problem Raceway, just 50 miles West of New Orleans, LA
When: Friday Sept 16th, and Sat. 17th 2005
What: Driving School/ open track sessions
Cost: $200, for both days, car and one driver, additional driver $50
What you can expect: Short class room instruction on racing basics. Tour of the track and discussion of racing line, apex, etc. Personal one on one in car instruction (this may be limited). Plenty of safe, at speed, track time. This is a safe track layout with good run off areas with few obstacles to hit.
Accommodations: We have a block of rooms at the Hilton. It is on the lake within walking distance to the Treasure Chest Casino, and only 10 minutes from the French Quarter. Ample secure trailer parking has been arraigned.

Attendees should call to make reservations and reference the Reed Performance Group event.
The rate is $89.00 per night. Reservations must be made by August 15. After that date they will release the rooms in the block. Folks may still be able to get in after then, but no guarantee of space or rate. A Credit card is required for reservation. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged one night's room and tax.
Please sign up early as we have limited space. We will only be able to accommodate a max of 40-50 cars, depending on how many people want personal instructions.
Thursday: Early arrivals at Hotel, buffet at Treasure chest casino or?? Bourbon Street?
Friday: 7:30 group departure for 1 hour drive to track. We want to get a full day in.
Saturday: 8 AM, State Police Escorted convoy of Cobras, with a busload of “Wheeling and Healing” event participants bringing up the rear. These Participants have donated over $7000 to The Carroll Shelby Children’s Fund. They will be taken for a ride around the track in a Cobra and may occupy most of the track time for the morning session. During this morning time the wives can be bused to the three Plantation homes within only a few miles of the track, and may visit the Cajun Village, a tourist attraction. (This Wheeling and Healing fundraiser is not finalized so we may have the whole day to ourselves.)
Noon Cajun lunch Buffet provided at the Track
1PM Open track for all participants, departing track 5-6 PM
Saturday night: Leisure time, French Quarter only 15minutes away. Casino within walking distance, with Buffet and Lounge with live band.
Sunday: Morning drive through French Quarter to Café Du’Monde for Coffee and Beignets.
Pretty simple straight forward tech is needed which consists of the usual shoulder harness, catch can, and Snell certified Helmet.
