Hilton is about a mile from the Marriot, maybe less. Marriott sits at 71 st and the Hilton is about 78th or so...so just shy of a mile. Both are on Lewis Ave...

Well, if you don't mind some of us northerners hangin' with you again this year, save me a spot. I'll be rollin' in Wednesday around noonish and can help hold some spots. Sounds like the little corner may be a wee more cramped than last year. Hope so. Can't wait. See ya there.

I really need to know the date and time each of you will be arriving..Kristen I assume on Wednesday afternoon...we are getting there Tuesday morning..now if something happens and I can't get our normal spot I will post it and let you know its going to be a free for all but right now I am mapping it out.

I am assuming that all of you that said save me a spot are bringing a truck and trailer...Jay Jennings I haven't heard from but I will put him down anyway.

Anyone not bringing a trailer? Also if you are going to the track and ARE NOT GOING to leave the trailer let me know because we pack them in tight and I don't want to save a spot if you are going to be moving it every day..saving it gets to be a nightmare

I also have one other request...I am going to ask everyone to bring one thing with them please.

I need each person to bring 2 bottles of Tequila and 1 bottle of triple sect(sp) I have a margarita machine....does anyone have access to a generator?

Its a little crude but you get the idea of where I have you at right now...so if someone isn't there when you arrive you can move the cones for your section...I am going to cone off every individual spot this year.

If you know the corner its on I believe the SE side of the hotel.

I won't be there until late afternoon on Thursday! Sorry, can't make it Wednesday.

Feel free to rotate me out with an earlier arrival. Are you suggesting the awning on the side of my trailer??? that is fine, but I don't have a generator.

I drive to Hallett- last year I trailered to Dragstrip because of the thunderstorms. If not threatening this year, I will just drive to the strip.
So, I'm not planning on moving my trailer around. Do you want us to drop the trailer from the truck??

I am going to be getting to the hotel about noon Thursday; do you have a place I can park the car? I'm going to leave the truck/trailer out in the parking lot somewhere; just need a space for the 350.

BTW, need anything besides tequila/triple sec?

I will be there with the Motorhome, generator running if needed & 20' trailer. Should be there mid day Thursday, earlier if I can get Loretta up and running...

Ok I have done some moving around....The Northern SPACES are going to be the hardest to hold onto if you get there late. I would advise you to if you can come in Wednesday night.

I need someone to volunteer to watch the spaces Thursday and help get people parked because I am going to be at the track.

Wendall bring the generator just in case something happens with Doug and his...

All I need is the tequila and triple for the margaritas..and these are just for our group so we don't need a ton just probably 3 loads on the machine....I am going to plan on making jumbalya(sp) on Friday night but need to get everything done first.

So who is going to step up and watch the parking Thursday morning?

I will be in Tulsa before noon on Thursday if the stars align. I am going to rent a Uhaul auto transport and drag my car just in case I break something during my track event on Friday.
I always bring a gas grill, portable canopy, ice chest full of beer and chairs so if anybody wants to cook something, save a few bucks and maybe share it with me, bring it.

Didn't see your question till just now. Yes, Loretta is coming, she would probably rather wash windows or watch grass grow but, she’s coming.

Still looks like Thursday AM somethime.

I've updated the parking diagram. From talking to Brad he is planning on being there Wednesday so he along with anyone that wants to help Thrusday morning will handle the parking for that day.
