Default Run N Gun Report

Some of you know, I'm crew for the Hey Lil Cobra Race Team at RnG. We've got more pics to post later when we get home, but here's something I had to share. 41 seconds. lousy quality, shot with my Canon ELPH, but lots of flavor. Watch the last car out #3 = Cobra Goddess!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=AFT-IdivoB8

Hope this works
Off to the drags shortly!!

Sam

Great meeting you Sammy. Can't wait for next year, when you'll be running down the Goddess.

Just so everyone knows how much fun we had, several of us put approx 300 miles on our cars worth of roadcourse track time. I think I even missed a session or two. Meeting everybody for the 1st time was even better.

Last but far from least was the weedeater powered margarita mixer!

Awesome event.

Yeah, that is James Yale. Matt, you left before we could give you your trophy! I will post all the results soon. It was a great time. I personally drove over 160 laps and 300 miles. That is a lot of track time.

Since I won my class, does that mean you'll try to bump me to "pro" next year? You might not want that kind of competition, ha ha.

Default #44 Car!

James, it's a pleasure! Watching you run with your new Daytona was a real treat. I just can't get over how perfect that car is up close, both under the hood and inside. Great meeting you!

hey, Sam. Are you going to put up all the video's??? Can you please link here to youtube when you do?? thanks!

I have sooo much to do, and when i get the chance, the first thing I'm gonna do is write a book. An 'event' thread just can't do justice to this whole experience. Unbelievable. I wish some more of the texas/dallas group could have gone. Maybe ya'll have been before, and run n gun was 'old hat' for ya'll.... but believe me, it's a whole new experience now. I'm glad I worked it in to my busy October. If you even think for a minute you can go next year, put it on the calendar. I have a lot to say. Check back later.

Yes, Kristen .. I will be posting links to a "few" videos that I took with my ELPH. I need to understand why youtube degrades them so much. Will work on it tonight. CD with my pics went in the mail to you at noon.

Now I have to earn more Cobra parts ... the "Baja Oklahoma Racing Team" requires a car for the next RnG!

cheers,
Sam

Mat I wanted to talk to you about that! You know Jay was having problems with his legs on Sat and when he went to load your car ... oh well we can talk about it when you get here (you are welcome to use my trailer)

I don't have any plans for the next couple of days so come and get it when you want.

Default Additional Videos Posted

I was just fooling around, seeing what the little point and shoot camera would do, so this was really just an experiment. Today, I learned how to string separate clips together in a movie ...

Novice - Street class, includes the first video in this thread, plus additional scenes on the back straight. Last scene is the gasoline margarita machine ... and then we broke for BBQ. James is there in 44 as before, and also look for 550 (petek) and 3 (hey, littlecobra) slugging it out on the back straight The 3 car is seen a lot .. when you buy 150 gal of diesel, you get to be in a movie
