Car Show & FREE Drag Racing - Sunday, Oct. 22

I hope this invite is received as better late than never! I just found this site, although I've loved the Cobra as long as I can remember.

Anyway, here's the deal:

I own North Texas Nissan in Corinth and we're having our Second Annual Car Show & FREE Drag Racing this Sunday, October 22. The show is at the dealership and begins at 10:00 a.m. Then, at 2:00 p.m., the entire show will caravan to Denton Dragway where everyone who attended the show will get in and race for free. The dealership has rented the entire track for the exclusive use by all who attended the car show.

Finally, last year's best of show went to a Daytona Coupe. I think it was a Superformance. Perhaps a member of this Board.

i would be interested, thanks for posting but it doesn't work out for me today. welcome to the club, and post other upcoming stuff as it comes along. Maybe we can make it sometime. A lot of cobra's 'up north' (I'm way East) that might take you up on this sometime.

I went to that show last year and took home the Best in Show trophy which almost wouldn't fit into the coupe. It's a great show with lots of real hot iron and cool rides. Can't make it this year...getting A/C installed in the coupe.

hey Rob,
That sounds like it would have been a blast. With a little extra notice, several of us would love to do such a thing.
Hope you'll post some photos of your stable too. Quite a list!
