Planning Meeting Recap

For those of you who were unable to join us, we had a very productive afternoon. Thanks to Joe and Pat Garland for hosting the meeting at their beautiful home.

We discussed what works and what needs a bit of tweaking based on what we've seen and heard over that last few years.

We'll be at the Marriott again this year as they've been very willing to work with us and the parking lot will accomodate us. And the Saturday cruises that the Austin comes up with each year have all been amazing. So they've got that task again. (No pressure now, right guys?)

But we've decided to add or rather, make official, a few activities as the event has grown over the years. Thursday night will be a welcome Tailgate for those lucky enough to come down on Thursday.

Friday will have activities for those who aren't going to spend all day polishing their cars. There've been some suggestion for lunch cruises and I expect we'll have a few options with that. Friday night there'll be a tailgate hosted by the Dallas group.

Saturday will be our traditional group picture and then on to the cruise and lunch. Reports are all that traffic/construction should be the most minors of issues this year. Saturday night Houston will host their annual tailgate.

Lots of good ideas were tossed around this weekend and I think it's going to be a weekend to remember (unless you enjoy the tailgates too much!).

As we get closer and get things settled we'll post more information.
