Default New Kirkham Owner

I have taken delivery of a new Kirkham roller and I am looking for some "guidance" and "mentoring" as I complete the project. If you live in the Austin or Georgetown (where I live) area and are interested in assiting or just joining in the fun please send me a PM as I need all the help I can get. I also plan on getting involved with the Texas Cobra Club as well.

Thanks...

What a great car, enjoy the build and all of the new friendships you will find.

Wish I could be helpful with the build, but I bought KMP297 used.

Trularin,
Major ice storm, my home was without power for almost four days, temps in theteens at night. I wired my little Honda generator directly to the furnace, I was half an amp short but ran it anyway. I was able to keep the house around 50 degrees aka no frozen water pipes.
The ice did some major tree damage and the broken limbs would fall and destroy recent tepairs, tough time to be a lineman.
Since the melt-off the power company has come under major fire, people are sitting in the cold and wonder why the power company officers are taking 50 million dollar retirement bonuses, they have been hanging wire on poles for over 130 years and claim runing wire underground is too expensive, and this banter is just starting.
Sorry, this is a Kirkham thread, didn't mean to side track it, I am trying to hold out for a Kirkham...after my expereince with SAI I could care less about a CSX number, don't know if I can hang on much longer as the less expensive kits are looking more attractive all the time, but what a great automobile the boys in Utah build.
