Default Texas Boy at Run-n-Gun 2007

Hey Texas guys and gals, I can not say enough about "HOW MUCH FUN IT IS AT RUN N GUN!" The Backdraft Boys did FANTASTIC!

It's a great time with cars, racing, and great people.

Here's a link to a video that I made of all 3 events wrapped into a 5 minute video of me racing. It's pretty good video with the wide angle lense attached.

Arrrre, me matey, the pirate, she is looking good!
Great stuff, James, thanks for posting!
Was that a shift light I saw come on between the steering wheel and shifter? How can you see that down there? As many times as I rapped the rev limiter in Tulsa, I need a sun-gun right in my face!
That autocross actually looked fun. Seems a lot looser than other layouts I've seen, not so tight.
What was your speed on the straights on the big course?
Looks like a blast!

Miles, great to hear from you. Yes, that was a shift light. And yes, it is hard to see when road racing. But it did work well with Drag Racing since you are going in a straight line. I hit about 130 on the straights as far as I can tell. My speedo is a little slow and it read over 120mph many times.

Bill, as always, I thoroughly enjoyed the companionship and competition. It looks like I have more work to do at the Autocross to beat you. You're a great driver! Hallet would be great next year. It's a very technical track.

Bests, James
