2nd New Guy
Gentlemen,
I am another new guy to this cobra club. I had the pleasure of meeting David this weekend at a car show in our neighborhood. He was telling me all about the Texas Cobra Club and I could not pass up this opportunity to join.
I originally built my car when I lived in Albuquerque, NM for 6 years and now live up in The Colony.. I work at the Texas Instruments in Dallas and plan on staying here for a long time. I am just interested in meeting people with similar interests and possibly getting the car out on a few trips this summer. Look forward to meeting everyone here in the near future.

I can tell you the Texas Group is a great group to be associated with and they will not lead you wrong. In fact they may ask you to join one of their committees. I think it is call the T.I.T. group (Texas Install Team). Why not join them in the Texas Corner next week at the Mid America Shelby Meet in Tulsa June 11-15, 2008. The Texas Cobra Club will be very well represented this year in Tulsa.

Howdy
It was good to meet you this past weekend. Defiantly try to make it to IHOP on Saturday. I'm still not sure which house is yours. My address is 5709.

Welcome Rey P.,
Sammy is right there are at least 16 cars in a 20 mile radius of you including a number of Lone Stars. I dropped my LS off at the paint shop today so I will be without a ride for several months. Will not make Saturday but will be in Tulsa for a couple of days. Look forward to meeting you and Bob C.
Once again welcome I know you are going to enjoy our group a great bunch of guys and gals.

Rey,
Welcome to Texas and the Metroplex!
You might also check the Lone Star website - http://www.lonestarclassics.com/
for folks with similar interests.
It is a very active manufacturer's forum.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Jody

Rey & HRod,
Another NM boy here too. I grew up and graduated from Los Alamos. (And no "glowing" jokes please).
I'll see ya two this Saturday. The FE S/O is up and running well......thank you very much. Only one small oil drip so far. (knock on wood)

Thanks guys for welcoming me in. I am looking forward to meeting most of you all this Saturday. I don't know if I will be able to bring the car due to it being trapped in by other car projects. Either way, I will be there....

Welcome Rey! Your first requirement is to show up Saturday morning, with or without your car. If you are married or have a good looking friend...bring her along.
Be prepared to give a short personal presentation about yourself and your car. Since the club collected dues last month, you can just pay for my breakfast and we'll call it even.
