September Dallas Meeting

Is there anything set up for this Saturday in the way of a breakfast meeting? I just rejetted my carb (on my car) and I might be hungry.

Sorry Will have to Miss

Sorry I can not make this months meeting, will be teaching people to drive fast at TMS. We have a nice size class this weekend, with Cobras, Vettes, and everything else. See you at the track, db:D:D:D

I am actually planning on getting up early and coming this month. I don't get out to B-fast much, so I really don't have any ideas. When I do go out for B-fast it usually is just IHOP.

Rich C. 09-04-2008 11:15 AM

I was thinking about it if its not too early and not too far into Dallas county.
How bout 635 in Irving.

PARKERPOWER 09-04-2008 11:41 AM

Pick a spot and I'm there.

Richard

How about the IHOP off of 635 and MacArthur?

That sounds good to me. I'm a 10:00 kind of guy. Is that too late? Do we dare go hang out by TMS and see if we can see the new racers?

FST FOX 09-04-2008 04:52 PM

eWell the Cobra is down for a little, So will probably be out in the Daily if I just don't sleep in.

LREYBURN 09-04-2008 05:17 PM

Suggestion:
Meet at 9:30, brunch at 10 am and those that wish to make the show at Lancaster Airport can hit both events. We will see you Saturday.

Side note to Wanda: Bring the baby blanket.

Madmiles442 09-04-2008 06:10 PM

Registration for the Lancaster show closes at 11, awards at 1:00, photos from 1:00 til 2:30 so I'll be out there. I'll probably get there about 10:30. Not that I plan on winning anything with Annie so scratched up, um, I mean with all her "racing patina", just want that photo with a fighter.

Someone have some blueberry pancakes for me!!

Irving and Lancaster are eons apart..... doubt many will do both!

I doubt i do either. :( way it goes right now.

Miles. do you know if you have to be registered for the show to take a picture with a warbird or can you just show up for a photo (and pay your $10)????

i could maybe swing down to Lancaster from my house around 2, but i won't for sure if i have to be registered by 11.

I think i have drawn the lot for volleyball; David is doing the soccer game.

ya'll have fun! :) :) :)
K

oh sorry; just realized i'm on the september meet thread, not the one about the Lancaster thing. ooops!

09-06 dallas monthly

I will have to miss this one.... too many options for that morning/day - the family won.
Paula gone to see Father (in bad shape). My boys, 12 yr old soccer at 8:00, and my 16 yr old basketball at 9:00, Daughter Girl Scout at 9:30 (woo hoo). I am the taxi service for the day (no tips either). then back track and pick them all up...

I was planning to sign up for the TMS intro driving Don Barnes. Now I have to put off till Oct 18ths. Anyone going???

Francis

Madmiles442 09-05-2008 05:41 AM

K,
I heard last year you could just pay the $10 for the photo, so I assume you can again this year. Not 100% positive on that.
The show goes on til 4, so you might be able to get a photo with the planes up until 4, but again, not positive.

Whatever yall do this weekend, have fun, be safe and enjoy the weather!! AND SOME FOOTBALL!!!

PARKERPOWER 09-05-2008 08:45 AM

A caravan down to Lancaster would be fun, especially when we all rumble into the airport at the same time. I will see if I can work that in.

p.s. baby blanket on board

Joe Wicked 09-05-2008 09:51 AM

I won't be making the Lancaster show, but for B-fast, is it set at IHOP at 9:30 then?
