possibly moving?
My family is probably moving to the austin area if our house will ever sell, and I was wondering what kind of smog testing is done for a fuel injected cobra if it has already been licensed in another state?

Stuart, there will be no smog testing here if you have your Cobra registered as a 1967 replica or home-built vehicle. This can be done no matter what the actual build date is. Then it will be smog exempt as far as state inspections.

Come on down!
Stuartb,
How is your Cobra titled? If it is a '65 you should only have to pass the safety test. If you don't have wipers, you can get a hand operated one. It will pass inspection here.
Let us know when you are coming our way. You can keep up with the Austin Club at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Austincobraclub/.
hope to see you soon,
Steve

I am going to GC the house. But reliable and good subs are always a must if you happen to know any. Don't need any names just yet though still have to sell my house here, before we can move.

My neighbor is a builder and has some really good subs. My other neighbor just moved in from Colorado too. Denver.
I have a brother in Durango, where are you at currently?

Stuart,
My brother in law lives in Steiner so I might see you out there. I live 35 miles from there, but we go out there on occasion.
